▷ 멜버른 시티 무료 트램은 1994년 4월 29일에 개통되었으며 멜번 시내 중심가(CBD)와 CBD의 가장 바깥쪽 주요 도로를 따라 무료로 운행되는 트램입니다. Melbourne city cycle tram의 설치비와 운영비는 'Building Better Cities program' 펀드에서 투자금을 받아 진행됐으며 6백 40만 달러 이상을 지원받았습니다.

▷ 멜번 시티 무료 트램은 2014년 현재 총 29개의 정류장이 있으며, 운영시간 중 매 12분 마다 한번씩 정류장에서 타고 내릴 수 있고, 트램내에서 멜번 시내 관광 지도(Free map and city guide)를 무료로 받아볼 수 있습니다.
